Statistical Consulting Available to NC State Researchers

The Statistical Consulting Seminar (ST 841) provides statistical advice and help to NC State researchers from the planning, stage, through selecting the experimental or sampling design, to running statistical analyses and interpreting statistical results. Students in the class are interested in gaining hands-on experience in statistical consulting and very eager to collaborate with NC State researchers. We are looking for research projects that challenge students and help them to gain experience with analyzing real data.
If you would like to participate with your research data or statistical question, please fill out the form at https://goo.gl/forms/nvvvHMVSHcPkTTK52. We expect that each student should weekly allocate three hours to work on their project until completion. There will be periodic meetings, and a final presentation and written report addressed to the client. Faculty from the Department of Statistics will participate as team advisors. If you have questions, please contact Consuelo Arellano, Research Associate Professor, Statistics (consuelo_arellano@ncsu.edu).
