Lunch and Learn: Going After Those Big Grants

A note from the Research Leadership Academy. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the Proposal Development Unit.

Are you ready to tackle bigger grants and seek more funding for your research?

The Research Leadership Academy invites you to a Lunch and Learn seminar. Find out more about how the Proposal Development Unit (PDU) can assist you in landing that next big competitive grant.
Date:  Thursday, September 21, 2017
Time:  Noon- 1 pm
Location:  Duke Energy Hall C & D, Hunt Library
Presenter: Pradip Pramanik

The PDU assists faculty investigators in developing large-scale, multidisciplinary research proposals by providing proposal development services that include strategic planning, faculty team facilitation, writing non-technical sections of proposals, editing text, preparing budgets and budget justifications, coordinating with collaborating institutions, and ensuring compliance with RFPs. The PDU can also offer assistance with collecting and formatting supplemental documents, and even identifying additional faculty expertise and resources around campus. Faculty who have used the PDU will share their experiences about how the PDU helped make their grants more competitive.

Pradip Pramanik serves as the Director of the PDU, and has over 32 years of proposal development and project management experience, with approximately $200 million in awarded grants at NC State University and elsewhere.

Bring your lunch and come learn about proposal development at NC State. Drinks and dessert will be provided.  If you have questions contact Dr. Gail Jones, Research Leadership Academy Chair: Gail_Jones@NCSU.edu
