Humanities and Social Science Funding Opportunities
These opportunities were shared by the Research Development Office, and are of particular interest to scholars in our college.
NSF Funding: ADVANCE: Organizational Change for Gender Equity in STEM Academic Professions
ADVANCE: Organizational Change for Gender Equity in STEM Academic Professions (ADVANCE)
The ADVANCE program contributes to the National Science Foundation's goal of a more diverse and capable science and engineering workforce. The program seeks to build on prior NSF ADVANCE work and other research and literature concerning gender, racial, and ethnic equity. The NSF ADVANCE program goal is to broaden the implementation of evidence-based systemic change strategies that promote equity for STEM2 faculty in academic workplaces and the academic profession. The program provides grants to enhance the systemic factors that support equity and inclusion and to mitigate the systemic factors that create inequities in the academic profession and workplaces. The solicitation includes four funding tracks: Institutional Transformation (IT), Adaptation, Partnership, and Catalyst. Please see the RFP for additional information on each track.

Alzheimer's Disease Research Centers (P30 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)
This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) invites applications for P30 Alzheimer's Disease Research Centers (ADRCs). NIA-designated ADRCs serve as major sources of discovery into the nature of Alzheimer’s disease and Alzheimer's disease-related dementias (AD/ADRD) and into the development of more effective approaches to prevention, diagnosis, care, and therapy. They contribute significantly to the development of shared resources that support dementia-relevant research, and they collaborate and coordinate their research efforts with other NIH-funded programs and investigators.
