The Public Humanities Projects program supports projects that bring the ideas and insights of the humanities to life for general audiences through in-person programming. Projects must engage humanities scholarship to analyze significant themes in disciplines such as history, literature, ethics, and art history. The program supports projects in three categories: Exhibitions (permanent, temporary, or traveling); interpretive programs at Historic Places, and Humanities Discussions related to “A More Perfect Union:" NEH Special Initiative Advancing Civic Education and Commemorating the Nation’s 250th Anniversary.

DUE Sept. 25: Non-laboratory Scholarship/Research Support Program (NSRP) Call for Proposals

NSRP

The NSRP is a program designed to support scholarship/research needs in disciplines not driven by instrument-dependent and lab-based research. Such disciplines may include but are not limited to social sciences, humanities, education, design, management, and libraries. These fields require other types of resources or infrastructure such as database access, survey instruments and panels, measurement tools, and travel to field sites and archives. In an effort to strengthen infrastructure and the overall research and scholarship enterprise, priority will be given in the NSRP program to proposals that support multiple NC State scholars and/or multiple projects at the university.
