HUD Doctoral Dissertation Research Grant Program--Deadline July 14, 2011

From the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of University Programs (www.oup.org)

Are you a doctoral student pursuing a degree in a housing- or urban development-related field?

The Office of University Partnerships (OUP), U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD), would like you to know about funding we offer through our
Doctoral Dissertation Research Grant (DDRG) program.

The DDRG program provides funds to assist doctoral candidates in completing their policy-relevant dissertations in a timely manner. The grant provides a forum for Ph.D. candidates to share their research findings and focuses attention on research that is relevant to HUD’s policy priorities and annual goals and objectives.

HUD competitively awards 2-year grants of up to $25,000 to successful doctoral candidates who are currently enrolled in accredited programs.

This fiscal year, OUP has received approximately $400,000 for DDRG funding.

To learn more about OUP’s DDRG program, the specifications for applying for funding, and to find links to download the DDRG Notice of Funding Availability and electronic application kit from Grants.gov, please visit us online today:
