Council on Library and Information Resources: Recordings at Risk
Through the Recordings at Risk regranting program, CLIR encourages professionals working in a variety of contexts to identify institutional priorities for digital reformatting, to establish good working relationships with partners who will help them undertake this work responsibly and efficiently, and to raise awareness of best practices for the description, storage, and maintenance of digitized audio and audiovisual content.

USAID is seeking applications from a US university to host the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Peanut Research. This is a funding opportunity for up to $35 million over five years for providing support for research efforts by funding applications for research programs on targeted funding areas.

Non-Limited Funding Opportunities

The High Energy Physics (HEP) program at the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Science, hereby invites new and renewal grant applications for support of research programs in High Energy Physics.

The National Science Foundation Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program seeks to encourage talented science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) majors and professionals to become K-12 mathematics and science (including engineering and computer science) teachers. The program invites creative and innovative proposals that address the critical need for recruiting and preparing highly effective elementary and secondary science and mathematics teachers in high-need local educational agencies.

The MMS Program is an interdisciplinary program in the Directorate for Social, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences that supports the development of innovative, analytical, and statistical methods and models for those sciences. MMS seeks proposals that are methodologically innovative, grounded in theory, and have potential utility for multiple fields within the social and behavioral sciences.

The purpose of the Focused Research Group activity is to support collaborative groups employing innovative methods to solve specific, major research challenges in the mathematical sciences. A major challenge is an outstanding problem of significant importance that requires the focused and synergistic efforts of a collaborative group to solve, and whose solution will have wide impacts in the mathematical sciences and potentially in other areas. Risky projects are welcome. Interdisciplinary projects are welcome. Projects should be timely, limited in duration to up to three years, and substantial in their scope and impact for the mathematical sciences.

This FOA encourages grant applications to conduct research and development of new or improved technologies driven by the needs of basic, translational, and clinical researchers. The Resources are charged to make their technologies available to the research community in a sustainable manner, to provide user training, and to disseminate the Resource’s technologies and experimental results. Resources should be at the leading edge of their field with respect to both technology development and engagement of the relevant research community.

The CDS&E program includes all Divisions within the Directorate for Mathematical and Physical Sciences (MPS) and the Directorate for Engineering (ENG), as well as the Office of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure (OAC) in the Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE).
