Statistical Assistance Available to NC State Researchers

The Statistical Consulting Seminar ST 841, provides statistical advice and help to NCSU researchers from the planning stage, to selecting the experimental or sampling design, to running statistical analyses and interpreting statistical results. Students in the class are interested in gaining hands-on experience in statistical consulting and very eager to collaborate with NCSU researchers. We are looking for research projects that challenge students and help them to gain experience with analyzing real data.

If you would like to participate with your research data or statistical question, please fill out the form at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScnc4bW3IE5ez1rDlSPl43H_4RtsUuK0JuCdcpidsIIrif-iQ/viewform, or download the form and return it to Consuelo Arellano (consuelo_arellano@ncsu.edu). We expect that each student should weekly allocate three hours to work in their project until completion. There will be periodic meetings, and a final presentation and written report addressed to the client. Please forward this message to anybody who may be interested. If you have questions about the program, please direct them to Consuelo Arellano (consuelo_arellano@ncsu.edu).
