Post-Doc Opportunity: NeuroComputational Ethics

NC State University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in NeuroComputational Ethics at the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences beginning in April 2021.

 

The successful candidate will preferably have experience in conceptual and empirical research with suitable peer-reviewed publications, as well as the aptitude for mentoring students. The position entails a specific research agenda that aligns with Dr. Veljko Dubljevic's NSF grant “Virtual Reality Simulations of Moral Decision Making for Autonomous Vehicles.” The successful candidate will also pursue their own individual research agenda and be guided by Dr. Dubljevic. A research presentation given once a year will summarize progress in this arena and should result in one or more publications.

 

This is a one-year (12-month) appointment with a possibility of renewal.
