Non-laboratory Scholarship/Research Support Program (NSRP) Call for Proposals: Due September 30, 2021

The 2021 cycle of the Non-laboratory Scholarship/Research Support Program (NSRP) is now open. NSRP is designed to support scholarship/research needs in disciplines not driven by instrument-dependent and lab-based research. Such disciplines may include, but are not limited to, social sciences, humanities, education, design, management, and libraries. These fields require other types of resources or infrastructure such as database access, survey instruments and panels, measurement tools, and travel to field sites and archives. In an effort to strengthen infrastructure and the overall research and scholarship enterprise, priority will be given to proposals that support multiple NC State scholars and/or multiple projects at the university.

A total of $100,000 has been set aside for this cycle of the program, with $50,000 from the Office of Research and Innovation and $50,000 from the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and ProvostBudget requests may be up to $20,000, but smaller amounts are encouraged.

Please visit the NSRP web page to access important program information, requirements, and resources.

Proposals are due by September 30, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. via  InfoReady Review.

Humanities and Social Sciences faculty with questions about this program should contact Tom Birkland at tabirkla@ncsu.edu.
