GRIP4PSIORI is pleased to announce a new large-scale, inter-disciplinary seed-funding program to support the NC Plant Science Initiative (PSI). The Game-Changing Research Incentive Program for the Plant Sciences Initiative has $2.3 million in seed funding available. Two informational meetings will be held this month (January 15th & January 23rd) as well as a networking session (January 25th). Register for the informational meetings here. NC State MRSEC Planning
Preliminary internal documents for participation in the NSF MRSEC program are due on January 9, 2019. For full details on NC State's internal planning for this solicitation, including a webinar, deadlines, and complete requirements visit RDO's website hereMRSEC is a limited submission opportunity and participation in NC State's internal process is required for submission to the NSF.

RTI University Scholars Program
Applications are due on January 10, 2019. You can find information on previous RTI University Scholars from NC State here.  NC State and RTI held a webinar on the RTI Scholars program. DOE: Energy-Water Desalination Hub *Short timeline*
The purpose of this FOA is to establish an Energy Innovation Hub to address water security issues in the U.S. The Energy-Water Desalination Hub will be organized around four topic areas: 1) Materials Research and Development, 2) New Process Research and Development, 3) Modeling and Simulation Tools, and 4) Integrated Data and Analysis.
