U.S. State Dept.: Research and Training on Eastern Europe and Independent States of Eurasia
The U.S. State Department has announced the program, "Research and Training on Eastern Europe and the Independent States of Eurasia." The limit is one application per organization. The purpose of the program is to support organizations with substantial and wide-reaching experience in administering research and training programs to conduct nationwide competitive programs supporting U.S. scholars, students and institutions in advanced research and language training. Proposal projects must be national in scope.
Award: Pending availability of funds. Cost-sharing is strongly encouraged.
Important dates:
Mandatory notification of interest in applying: Due by 5 p.m. January 23, 2013 to limited-submisson@ncsu.edu . Only a simple email message of interest is needed, along with a working title and the names of the principal NC State investigators.
Internal preproposal submission: Due by 5 p.m. February 4, 2013 to limited-submission@ncsu.edu . Internal requirements are available at http://research.ncsu.edu/rdo/2013/01/rtee/ .
Estimated internal review completion: February 8, 2013
State Department proposal submission deadline: February 28, 2013
