This webinar will be presented by Dr. Jacob L. Jones and is hosted by the Proposal Development Unit, within the Office of Research, Innovation & Economic Development. Dr. Jones is a Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at NC State University and is also Director of the Analytical Instrumentation Facility (AIF) and the Research Triangle Nanotechnology Network (RTNN), a recent NSF-funded facility cooperative agreement and collaboration between NC State, Duke, and UNC-Chapel Hill. Successful facility and equipment proposals are different from traditional research grant applications, and this webinar will provide key information for developing successful proposals. Tips from other successful grant recipients will also be highlighted.
