The 2017 Industry Studies Conference will be held in Washington DC on May 24-26. Industry studies research is grounded in observations of firms and workplaces and in a deep understanding of the markets, institutions, and technologies that shape the competitive environment. It draws on a wide range of academic disciplines and fields, including political science, policy analysis, and other social sciences. Next year’s theme is “Revisiting Capital.”
The program committee would welcome proposals for panels as well, and we have a particular interest in strengthening the interactions between industry studies researchers and the policy community.
