After the jump, please see an announcement of the Jefferson Science Fellows Program. We have had some recent success with this program. If this fits your interests, consider applying.
We wanted to make you aware of the Jefferson Science Fellows program administered by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (brochure attached). The program aims to engage the American academic science, technology, engineering, and medical communities in the formulation and implementation of U.S. foreign policy and international development programming. It is supported through a partnership between the U.S. academic community, professional scientific societies, the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
The JSF is open to tenured, or similarly ranked, faculty from U.S. institutions of higher learning who are U.S. citizens. The application deadline is October 31, 2017. We hope some of you will consider applying.
