NEH Summer Stipends Program: Notification of Interest Due June 27

Please share this opportunity with your faculty why may be interested in submitting to this program; it is a popular program among humanists in particular. If recent experience is a guide, all the expressions of interest will come from our College, in which case we will manage the process internally for selecting the two applicants from NC State. For now, the goal is to be sure that faculty express their interest by the deadline, June 27.

NSF CAREER Proposal Workshop - March 25, 2019

NSF’s prestigious Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program offers support for early-career faculty seeking to build strong foundations for research and education in their respective fields. Faculty interested in submitting a CAREER proposal are invited to attend a workshop covering key aspects of proposal development.

Non-laboratory Scholarship/Research Support Program (NSRP)

Non-laboratory Scholarship/Research Support Program (NSRP)

Deadline: September 26, 2019

The NSRP is a program designed to support scholarship/research needs in disciplines not driven by instrument-dependent and lab-based research. Such disciplines may include but are not limited to social sciences, humanities, education, design, management, and libraries. A total $100,000 has been set aside for this program with $50,000 from Research and Innovation and $50,000 from the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost. Budget requests may be up to $20,000, but smaller amounts are encouraged.

University Research Symposium

The 2019 University Research Symposium seeks to introduce research scholars to each other, and to explore opportunities for new partnerships. This year’s focus will be on opportunities and intellectual challenges in cross- and multi-disciplinary research. It will be held on March 21. More information and registration form here.
